When I first moved to East Anglia, it was all about the cheap housing stock. I thought you had to go to London for the cool stuff. It has taken me a while to appreciate how much is happening along this flat plane. As soon as you start rooting about, so many interesting, world class things are quietly happening around the region. Maybe it’s something to do with all the space and all the sky.
This site is designed to aggregate all the lovely places I find into one site for easy reference. In my day job I’m a designer and copywriter, so the selection is heavily skewed to my personal interests of beautiful things and interesting, design and craft related stories and people, but please do use it if you will. Go out and discover, and if you’re doing something amazing in the region, tell me about it so I can tell other people. Contact me on hello@flatlanders.co.uk
Also, the blog has transferred to a new URL www.flatlanders.co.uk, so why not come and join us there for several months of new content.
